Richard (Cody) BrownCody Brown earned his B.S. in Public Administration, focusing in Emergency Management, from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Cody is a South Florida native, from the city of Hollywood. He returned to South Florida after his undergraduate studies because he missed both the diversity of the people and the natural resources. In his free time, Cody enjoys outdoor activities like gardening, camping, and rock climbing. As a researcher, Cody is facilitated with research topics where public affairs overlap with environmental affairs.
Before transitioning from his bachelors' into his masters’ degree, Cody took a year off to assist the East Central Florida Regional Planning as an intern. While there he collaborated on planning projects with a variety of groups: universities, local governments, non-profit organizations, and more. In doing so he discovered the multifaceted field of Public Planning. Cody favors Environmental and Resilience Planning, yet most of his experience lies in Community Development. Cody is now a graduate student at his Alma mater, UCF, and in the process of completing his Master’s of Public Administration with a focus in Urban and Regional Planning.
