Tree campus higher education  The Jupiter Campus of FAU has been a Tree Campus USA since 2010. We are currently one of 15 campuses in Florida with this designation. Learn more about this program on the Arbor Day Foundation's website .
Arbnet In September 2016 the Huckshorn Arboretum was awarded a Level I Accreditation by The ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program and The Morton Arboretum, for achieving particular standards of professional practices deemed important for arboreta and botanic gardens. FAU’s Huckshorn Arboretum is also now recognized as an accredited arboretum in the Morton Register of Arboreta, a database of the world’s arboreta and gardens dedicated to woody plants. NWF The National Wildlife Federation’s Garden for Wildlife Program helps people restore habitat and wildlife populations to our cities, towns and neighborhoods. NABA The North American Butterfly Association encourages butterfly watching and butterfly gardening is one of the best ways to do that. Through the Butterfly Garden and Habitat Program, you can create a paradise for butterflies while encouraging habitat restoration, no matter how large or small an area you have.
