Purpose:

The University of Florida - Florida Invasion Ecology Lab and USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center are working to develop a transparent, defensible, and reproducible approach to prioritize invasive species management efforts in the Greater Everglades. The group is working with the Invasive Species Advisory Body of the Office of Everglades Restoration Initiatives to recruit local experts on various taxonomic groups, to source their knowledge as they develop the systematic approach ultimately used in the prioritization process.
