Rebecca Clark Rebecca is a doctoral candidate at FAU in Geosciences. She previously earned an M.S. in Science Education at FIU and an M.S. in Geosciences at FAU. Her current research involves the relationship between socio-economic, infrastructural and geophysical characteristics of South Florida properties and the incidence of repetitive loss due to natural hazard induced flooding events. Rebecca worked as a K-12 educator for a period of eight years and has been an assistant professor in the Department of Geology at Broward College for the last three years, where her primary responsibilities are in-class instruction, coupled with course development across the physical and online campuses. Rebecca is a reader of all things science fiction and fantasy and enjoys spending time with her husband and five cats.
