CES Team

Serena Tyler is the Education and Outreach Assistant at Riverwoods Field Lab. CES facilitates research, education and outreach of the Kissimmee River Restoration Project through the Riverwoods agreement with South Florida Water Management District. Serena assists guided pontoon tours on the Kissimmee River for students, teachers and faculty from around the world.

She is currently an undergraduate at Indian River State College, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business administration. Serena dual enrolled in South Florida State College in 2015 for business and medical administration and graduated in 2018 with certifications for business, medical administration, and Microsoft Word programming. Serena’s goal is to manage her own wildlife sanctuary for injured and bird species. She plans to further her education in biology and zoology after graduating Indian River State College.
