Come out and visit one of our Stormwater Treatment Areas (STAs) that is built on a scale never before achieved. STAs contribute significantly to phosphorus reductions in water flowing into the Everglades. These constructed wetlands are excellent examples of engineering, environmental science and natures own processes merged to achieve restoration goals. You will see treatment cells, levees and pump stations as well as an observation tower that provides enhanced views - with opportunities to see the many species of wading birds attracted to STAs.     (Click here for more info.)
