Supporting the Arboretum

The Arboretum would not be possible without the help from dedicated students on the Jupiter campus of FAU. Students from the EnviroClub and selected classes have helped plant, mulch and maintain this beautiful sanctuary on campus.

YOU can help us grow too!

There are a variety ways that you can support the Arboretum. An easy way is to donate online by going to our FAU Foundation website and following these easy steps:

  2. Enter the amount you wish to donate
  3. Click on the ‘Designation” dropbox and choose “Other Designation”
  4. Type in “Robert J Huckshorn Arboretum”
  5. Submit by clicking ‘Add donation’

Or you can support the Arboretum by participating in one of the programs listed below. You can also Download a brochure that discusses the many ways that you can support the Arboretum.

Adopt-A-Tree Program

Through the Robert J. Huckshorn Arboretum Adopt-A-Tree Program, a tree can be purchased to memorialize a loved one, honor birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, or contribute to the ecology of the community. Your contribution will allow FAU to purchase and plant a tree in the Huckshorn Arboretum as a living legacy for future generations. In recognition of your contribution, a 5x7 plaque with the wording of your choice will be placed at the base of the tree. Prices for trees start at $600. Contact Alana Edwards for more information about the trees that are available: 561-799-8462.

Donate a Bench

Numerous benches will be scattered throughout the arboretum, encouraging visitors to explore and relax. Each bench includes a 3x8 plaque with the wording of your choice. Prices for benches start at $650. Contact Alana Edwards for more information: 561-799-8462.

Commemorative Brick Program

Memorialize your loved ones or honor their special occasions by purchasing a brick that will line the walkway of the Gazebo in the Arboretum. Prices range from $100 – $175. For more information download an order form for this program.
