ROBERT J. HUCKSHORN ARBORETUM
Dr. Robert J. Huckshorn, after playing a variety of key roles at
Florida Atlantic University, currently serves as Vice President
Emeritus of FAU’s MacArthur Campus. When Dr. Huckshorn retired,
the University set asid a part of the campus to be dedicated as
an Arboretum in honor of his many years of service. His vision for
the Arboretum is that it feature native Florida plants and become
a resource for teaching and research on the MacArthur Campus.
Supporting the Arboretum
There are many ways that you can support the Arboretum. Download

Adopt-A-Tree Program -Through the Robert J.
Huckshorn Arboretum Adopt-A-Tree Program, a tree can be purchased
to memorialize a loved one, honor birthdays, weddings and anniversaries,
or contribute to the ecology of the community. Your contribution
will allow FAU to purchase and plant a tree in the Huckshorn Arboretum
as a living legacy for future generations. In recognition of your
contribution, a 5x7 plaque with the wording of your choice will
be placed at the base of the tree. Prices for trees start at $500.

Donate a Bench - Numerous benches will be scattered
throughout the arboretum, encouraging visitors to explore and relax.
Each bench will include a 3x8 plaque and the wording of your choice.

Commemorative Brick Program - Another way to support
the Arborteum is by purchasing a brick that will line the walkway
of the Gazebo. Download an order form

Coming Soon! Friends of the Arboretum
- The Friends Program is currently under development. As a Friend
you will receive discounts to participating local businesses. If
