Go Zero Program
Using The Conservation Fund's (TCF) Go Zero Program, the Center for
Environmental Studies at Florida Atlantic University offset travel and energy use associated with the
Summit by planting 14 trees at Red River National Wildlife Refuge. These
trees will trap approximately 16.5 tons of CO2 over their lifetime. In addition to
cleaning our air, the new forests at Red River will filter the water we
drink, restore sensitive wildlife habitat and enhance public recreation
areas for current and future generations.
