Climate Science Curriculum

FAU's Center for Environmental Studies began working with Dr. Julie Lambert in the College of Education in 2011 on this exciting NASA-funded project. The curriculum is still in development but expected to be completed by the end of 2014.

Is Earth really warming?
What is causing the current warming pattern?
What are the impacts to our planet?
Can we believe what the scientists tell us?

These are questions that your students hear everyday in the media. This curriculum will provide you with the tools to teach your students about Climate Science using the new NASA-funded online curriculum Climate Science Investigations (CSI) . Students will analyze real scientific data to help them understand the role humans play in affecting our climate. Students will learn the skills of argumentation in order to effectively communicate their ideas to their friends, family and the community!
