The DuPuis Nature Lecture Series is a chance for visitors to learn about Florida’s natural environments from a variety of local experts. The lectures take place on one Saturday a month from November to March. At past lectures, we have had experts speak on a variety of topics, including photography, Florida history, archaeology and native wildlife. Guests are given the opportunity to participate in interactive activities and really learn about Florida’s natural wonders. Some of our most popular lectures have included an evening Bat Walk with local bat experts Cynthia and George Marks, and FireWise increasing awareness about wildfires and prescribed burns. All events are open to the public and free of charge, so come down and learn more about our state from the people who know it best!
