Public Land’s Day

Lend a helping hand for the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer effort on September 29, 2007 for National Public Lands Day. Participate locally by joining us at DuPuis Management Area from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Volunteers will install native plants at the Visitor Center and Equestrian Center. Students can earn needed volunteer hours and Girls Scouts can earn the Get with the Lands Badge. Native plants will be available for purchase. Purchase a BBQ lunch to support Boy Scout Troop # 751 or pack a lunch to enjoy at the Visitors’ Center picnic area. The first 100 volunteers will receive a beautiful 2007 Public Land's Day poster.

Download a PDF version of the Public Land's Day Flyer.
