Come join us at DuPuis Management Area as we tour the winter night sky!
The Treasure Coast Astronomical Society will be giving a lecture to teach us about winter constellations and then set up telescopes for everyone to view them afterwards.
The lecture begins at 6:00 p.m.

Enjoy a Spooky Halloween
at DuPuis Management Area
October 22, 2011 5:30 pm- 9:30 pm
Canal Point - For an evening filled with ghostly fun - bring the whole family to enjoy Haunted Halloween Night at DuPuis Management Area on Highway 76 in western Martin County.
We offer a safe, family-friendly atmosphere, fun activities, crafts, and candy.
The highlights include a hair-raising haunted house and a hayride through the woods for all ages. Learn about creepy critters such as bats, owls, snakes and spiders on the Dark Woods Trail. Boy Scout Troop #832 will sell hot dogs, chips, apple cider and homemade donuts. Don’t forget to wear your favorite costume for a night full of tricks and treats!
Inside Activities: Games & Crafts for little kids,Discovery center - learn about creepy critters, Live creatures of the night featured by Treasure Coast Wildlife Center
Outside Activities: Hayride for all ages, Haunted House (ages 8 & up), Hike the'Dark Woods Trail' to learn about nocturnal adaptations

Get outdoors just for the health of it at DuPuis Management Area’s Earth Day/ Health Fair Celebration on Saturday, April 16th from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Visitors’ Center. DuPuis offers a safe, outdoor location for families to celebrate Earth Day!
We will have non-profit environmental and health organization booths that feature FREE crafts and games for kids as well as educational materials for adults.
The DuPuis Nature Lectures are a chance for visitors to learn about Florida’s natural ecosystems from a variety of local experts. Experts present a variety of topics, including nature photography, Florida history, archaeology and native wildlife. Guests are given the opportunity to participate in interactive activities and really learn about Florida’s natural wonders. Some of our most popular lectures have included our night programs such as Astronomy Night and the Evening Bat Walk. All events are open to the public and free of charge, so come out and learn more about our natural habitats from the people who know it best!
