FAU’s Center for Environmental Studies (CES) announces a resource for researchers and the public in the area of sea-level rise. Beginning summer 2015, FAU’s Sea-Level Rise Expeditions bring you to the leading edge of current and future sea-level rise issues facing South Florida. CES will offer half-day, full-day, and multi-day expeditions to the urban and natural environments of Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties that are facing the impacts of sea-level rise. These tours all showcase a range of impacts from science to local government to business and industry. These tours can be tailored to accommodate specific interests such as water infrastructure, tourism, real estate, or a geographic focus on specific neighborhoods, cities, counties, or the entire region.
