  • Linking conference process to adaptive management strategies familiar to participants

  • Each group encouraged to choose one objective among several possible and explain in plenary report why this is the right one.

Third breakout sessionRefine and redraft actions and add knowledge gaps

  • Ensuring that actions are specific, measurable, time-defined and amenable to adaptive analysis and modification. (This includes filling information gaps.)
  • Testing actions against adaptive criteria—feasibility, cost, practicality
  • Engaging practical manager/management considerations
