Volunteer Opportunities in the Arboretum

Volunteer Opportunities

Student Volunteer Opportunity

The Center for Environmental Studies offers volunteer opportunities for Honors College students, high school students, and local groups such as boy and girl scout troops. Students groups can participate in service-learning activities in the Robert J. Huckshorn Arboretum located in the heart of the campus. Volunteers help maintain the Arboretum by weeding, mulching and maintaining our trails.

Internship Program

Student Internship Program

Through our volunteer Internship Program, students from the Honors College and local high schools can earn school credit while working on a variety of environmental education projects that will affect both the local campus environment and community.
