Allison Lippert is an Environmental Field Technician for the Kissimmee River Restoration Project (KRRP) through CES’ Riverwoods agreement with South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD).  Allison has supported the KRRP since 2021. Allison assists SFWMD scientists with all ecological monitoring studies and is responsible for a weekly scientific hydrological conditions report presented to water managers for operations.

Allison received her Bachelor of Science in natural resource conservation and management from McNeese State University in 2020. She served as an AmeriCorps for the Florida State Park Service at Johnathan Dickinson Florida State Park performing native habitat restoration on piney flatwoods. Allison also assisted in the reintroduction of Red-cockaded woodpeckers to the park. She will be taking advantage of the Employee Scholarship Program at FAU and pursuing a master’s degree in the FAU Environmental Science Program in 2023. With her B.S. degree and knowledge of the Kissimmee River wildlife and vegetation, she plays an important role on the KRRP research team. Allison is proud to be a part of the largest river restoration project in the world.
